That’s my fluffy, current state. 

I would like to be 154 pounds, with a healthy BMI and strong, before I turn 32 years old.

Some people would say that losing weight and gaining strength are oxymorons, and as I go through this journey I may prove them right. However, I am one fluffy, no muscle girl, and would love to gain some muscle tone and strength through this process.

Below are my resources for healthy eating and fitness routines that I plan to use during The Great Purge of 2017.

Weight Watchers Online Membership: Because it’s the new year, I am capitalizing on their new promotion. It’s $50 for 3 months of the online membership (joining fee waived) and if I lose 10 pounds in 2 months I can either extend my membership with 2 paid months or be refunded. Weight Watchers Plans

Nike Plus Personal Training App: After completing a thorough questionaire, it builds a workout plan that matches my current stamina and my fitness goal. I’m looking forward to learning how to strength train. Nike Plus App

Fresh 5k in Tyler, Texas: I love a good 5k. I have completed 5ks off and on for about 10 years, and have completed two half marathons in my past. But that was my past. I haven’t exercised or trained for a race in longer than I want to admit (3 years!). It’s time to get focused about cardio training again, and this race is perfect. Fresh 5k March 4, 2017
